Here at Dunton Stables our established horse and pony trekking centre and riding school is ideally located in the West Midlands which has good transport links for those travelling by road and rail. Dunton Stables are ABRS approved and we are regularly inspected and meet high standards of care, welfare and riding instruction. The managers of the stables live within the grounds and with the support of the stables team provide a welcoming and professional horse & pony riding experience.
Horse Riding Weekends Benefits
The horse riding weekends we offer are suited to novice and experienced riders alike as well as families or small groups. Accommodating no more than 4 horse riders at once Dunton Stables is able to offer extensive and varied activity packages that ensure you get the most out of your horse riding weekends with us. All main meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided within the weekend price as well as snacks in the morning and afternoon. Riding Weekend Horses & Ponies
The horses and ponies at Dunton are well trained and are ideal for both novice and experienced horse riders. Our 'coloured cobs' are best suited to trekking and enjoy cantering across the fields and heath land as well as trotting in wooded glades, pools and lakes that we pass during our horse riding weekends.
Horse Riding Weekend Trekking Route
During the horse riding weekend you will enjoy trekking along the bridleway from the Dunton Stable yard towards Kingsbury Water Park which has 620 acres of parkland and landscaped lakes. Kingsbury is well known to our horses who enjoy a drink from the lakes along the route around the park. This parkland area is covered in an array of flora and wildlife and has conservation areas.
